Qualifikationen

• Experience in resource protection, visitor services, outdoor education or emergency services preferred.
• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School diploma or GED; Bachelor's in Park Management/Natural Resources/Env. Sciences preferred.
• Must read/write/speak English and present a professional demeanor.

Aufgaben

• Provide visitor services with education and information on recreational opportunities and safety.
• Observe and report information affecting facilities and users.
• Educate the public on division rules and regulations and enforce as needed.
• Organize recreational and interpretative programming.
• Manage crowd and traffic control within facilities and events.
• Perform patrols by vehicle, bicycle, foot, or boat in various weather conditions.
• Coordinate with local, county, state, and federal agencies as needed.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, attendance counts, and maintenance requests.
• Assist in light maintenance and snow removal; support special events and projects.
• Assist with natural resource restoration projects and provide emergency aid as trained.
• Possible supervision of volunteers; training as assigned.
