Job summary

A National Transit in Atlanta is hiring experienced passenger transportation professionals to provide MARTA Mobility paratransit service. This is a full-time role in a 24/7 system requiring dependable, safety-focused drivers who can assist passengers with mobility needs and adapt to varying schedules.

You will transport passengers safely, secure mobility devices, complete trips, and cooperate with Dispatch.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of verifiable professional driving experience in a structured work environment.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license and be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass a DOT physical, drug and alcohol screenings, and background checks.
• Must meet MARTA clearance and badge requirements and have a DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers according to assigned routes, manifests, and scheduled trips.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting and secure mobility devices.
• Maintain communication with Dispatch and complete pre/post-trip inspections and documentation.
• Follow DOT, ADA, company, safety, and traffic regulations and maintain a professional vehicle environment.
• Respond professionally to passenger concerns and adapt to changing service conditions.
