Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) in New York is seeking a Manager, Paratransit Contracts Management to oversee the development, bill preparation, negotiation, and control of Paratransit Division contracts. This on-call 24/7 role supports the Director, Paratransit Contracts Management and ensures contract performance.

Formación

• Baccalaureate from an accredited college in Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8 years of full-time related experience.
• 3 years of Managerial/Supervisory/Administrative Experience.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure contractors meet service goals and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Take corrective actions to resolve service problems and improve performance.
• Monitor contractor operations and vendor management including KPI oversight, hiring, dispatcher and operator availability and training, DOT vehicle inspection, registration, complaints, maintenance and DFTA Drug and Alcohol testing requirements.
• Ensure vehicle and operator availability for scheduled service.
• Manage accounts payable, assist the Contracts Director in procuring goods/services, and interface with upper management.
• Analyze and prepare reports on the status of contracts in various stages of development, negotiation, and award.
• Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices and respond to vendor-related matters.
• Assist internal and external auditors in gathering data for audits.
• A valid NY State driver's license is required as the selected candidate may need to use official vehicles for vendor site visits.
