Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis Critical Care Medicine Fellowship is seeking a Field Supervisor Paramedic to provide direct patient care, perform life support, and supervise EMTs and Paramedics in daily pre-hospital operations.

The role includes making operational decisions in the absence of supervisory leadership, ensuring adherence to Mercy’s philosophy and codes of conduct, and coordinating training activities for EMS personnel.

Qualifications

• Paramedic license required (state of practice) and valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Hazmat awareness level, ACLS at hire, PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, evaluation, and basic/advanced life support.
• Supervise EMTs and Paramedics in daily routine and pre-hospital care.
• Make operational decisions in the absence of the Manager-Regional EMS or Supervisor-Operations.
