Job summary

Children's Health in Dallas is seeking a Sr. Paramedic for the Emergency Department. This on-site role supports nursing and respiratory staff, delivering BLS/ALS care, and collaborating under physician delegation, with a focus on pediatric and neonatal stabilization when needed.

Shifts are 3x12 hours (7:00pm-7:00am). The Sr. Paramedic will transport patients, assist in CPR training for families, and contribute to a high-quality patient and family experience at Children's Health.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of job-related experience required.
• BLS, PALS, ACLS certifications required; Texas EMT-P license.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform BLS and advanced skills during patient care, including IV access and airway management.
• Assist in emergencies by initiating BLS/ALS and chest compressions.
• Document patient care in the electronic medical record per guidelines.
• Administer medications per physician order or protocol.
• Support family-centered care and assist in training new staff.
