Job summary

Children's Health Dallas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This on-site night shift (7 pm–7 am) requires independent patient care using the nursing process and collaboration with physicians and the care team.

Requirements include at least 1 year of RN experience, a BSN, and active Texas RN license with BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS. The role focuses on developmentally appropriate care in critical care settings.

Qualifications

• BSN in Nursing required.
• At least 1 year RN experience.
• Current Texas RN license.
• BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications required within department time frame.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Use nursing process to develop and implement care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team for patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and families and recognize diversity in care delivery.
• Coordinate care with care team to meet patient outcomes.
