Job summary

Jenner & Block LLP, a premier law firm, seeks a Paralegal/Senior Paralegal to support complex litigation and investigations from Chicago, IL. The position blends case management, workflow coordination, and potential leadership across matters.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 years in litigation support, strong procedures knowledge, and proficiency with Relativity, docketing tools, and MS Office. Hybrid role with in-office presence for most weeks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a litigation paralegal at an AmLaw 100 or similar firm.
• Expert knowledge of Federal and relevant State procedural rules and e-filing.
• Experience drafting pleadings and discovery requests with Bluebook cite-checking.
• Working knowledge of docketing applications (e.g. CompuLaw, PACER), litigation support and e-discovery tools (e.g. Relativity).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and legal research platforms (LexisNexis, Westlaw).

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all stages of large, complex litigation matters from inception through post-trial.
• Apply advanced knowledge of federal and state rules; manage case calendaring and docketing.
• Prepare templates and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses.
• Organize and maintain electronic case files; manage high volumes of documents and communications.
• Assist attorneys with Relativity data management and document production.
• Prepare exhibits and trial materials; support witness interviews and investigations.
