Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Senior Paralegal (USAO) to support the U.S. Attorney's Office in high‑profile litigation.

The role focuses on complex discovery, trial preparation, and advanced eDiscovery workflows using Relativity and other tools. You will assist AUSAs with document review, subpoenas, and legal memoranda, while ensuring compliance with federal rules and maintaining rigorous quality under pressure. US citizenship must be obtainable (DOJ MBI).

Qualifications

Paralegal certificate or JD or ABA-accredited law school status (or equivalent).
At least two years of litigation paralegal experience.
At least one year of automated litigation support experience.
Sound knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and resources.
Excellent written and oral communication; proficient with Lexis and Westlaw.
Experience with eDiscovery tools and related workflows.

Responsibilities

Prepares a variety of legal documents and orders, and assists with discovery for grand jury and trials.
Assists litigation teams in trial preparation, organizing evidence, and managing exhibits.
Provides advanced automated litigation support using Relativity, Axiom, Everlaw, and other tools.
Performs legal research to verify citations, precedents, and statutory references.
Writes preliminary drafts of simple memoranda and correspondence per local rules.
Assists with incoming discovery and screens for privileged materials; communicates status to teams.
Compiles outgoing discovery in accordance with the Federal Rules and court orders.
Utilizes case management systems to track filings and generate reports.
Answers routine inquiries and coordinates with litigants and staff.
