Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior Paralegal to support the US Attorney's Office (USAO) with complex litigation assistance, eDiscovery workflow, and trial exhibits. The position emphasizes strict case handling, document management, and coordination with assigned attorneys.

Candidates should have a paralegal certificate or JD, plus multiple years in litigation support and strong research skills. DOJ MBI clearance is required and local travel may be up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Requires paralegal certificate, or JD, or currently attending ABA-accredited law school
• At least two years of litigation paralegal or related experience
• At least one year of automated litigation support experience
• Knowledge of federal and state court systems and legal research resources
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; familiarity with LEXIS and Westlaw
• Familiarity with eDiscovery procedures and tools
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Provide legal assistance and technical work to support USAO activities
• Annotate deficiencies in case materials and request investigations to correct them
• Act as contact for assigned cases and provide status updates
• Compile and index discovery exhibits for trial
• Provide technical assistance to attorneys with e-discovery platforms
• Prepare and coordinate exhibits for trial with diverse visual materials
• Maintain case files and track deadlines and materials
• Provide automated litigation support and in-court assistance
• Open, maintain, and close case files and notify client agencies
