Job summary

CACI is seeking a Supervisory Paralegal to support high-visibility Department of Justice cases in Washington. You will help manage litigation support, supervise staff, and coordinate with trial teams to ensure timely delivery of work across document intake, review, and trial support.

The role emphasizes leadership in eDiscovery environments, exposure to Relativity and related tools, and opportunities for professional growth through tuition reimbursement programs and industry certifications.

Qualifications

  • Paralegal certificate, JD, or enrolled in ABA-accredited law school with at least one year of study
  • 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, including trial experience
  • 1+ years of experience in automated litigation support
  • Supervisory experience with client and attorney interaction
  • Sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and resources
  • Excellent written and oral communication; knowledge of Lexis and Westlaw
  • Hands-on familiarity with word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and imaging
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work under deadline pressure
  • Customer-focused, professional, able to work with staff and government clients
  • Experience with eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, Clearwell, Casepoint, Casemap, Oncue

Responsibilities

  • Ensure paralegal and support staff work meets contract and attorney requirements and is delivered on time
  • Interact with COR, Case Managers, trial attorneys, client staff, and other contractor components
  • Troubleshoot and perform quality control spot-checks
  • Formulate administrative and technical procedures for getting work done
  • Report to Project Supervisor or Project Manager; liaise with COR and government stakeholders
  • Perform complex legal and factual research
  • Design and develop systems for tracking and managing case files and exhibits
  • Utilize Relativity, Casemap, Oncue to support investigations
  • Assist trial staff with coordination of expert witnesses and consultants
  • Arrange access to DOJ libraries and legal research facilities
  • Coordinate with data processing staff to accomplish work
