Job summary

Nationwide seeks a Sr Paralegal - Trial Division to assist trial attorneys with pre-trial, discovery, and filing tasks. The role focuses on case management from start to finish in a mostly paperless office.

The ideal candidate has four years as a paralegal, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems, with experience in general liability/subrogation a plus.

Qualifications

• Typically four years as a paralegal with proven performance.
• Experience handling files from start to finish.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and case management software.

Responsibilities

• Review office files and answer routine correspondence; conduct legal research and manage cases.
• Draft interrogatories, discovery motions, and orders for attorney review.
• Manage and analyze medical records and discovery materials.
• Prepare experts and witnesses for pre-trial and trial activities.
• Summarize depositions and index material after discovery.
• Coordinate trial dates and witness appearances with attorneys.
