Nationwide's Trial Division seeks a Senior Paralegal to support pre-trial and trial activities for civil insurance defense matters. You will work with a national team of attorneys across multiple offices, coordinating filings, discovery, and deposition preparation with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

Ideal candidates will have five years of paralegal experience in insurance litigation, a paralegal certification, and knowledge of court procedures, e‑filing, and case management systems.

Qualifications

• Typically five years of paralegal experience in insurance-related litigation.
• Strong knowledge of court procedures and e-filing systems.
• Experience with document production, discovery, and deposition summaries.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Provide pre-trial and trial support for litigated matters.
• Draft, review, file pleadings, motions, and subpoenas.
• Summarize medical records and prepare deposition summaries.
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, and meetings; communicate with clients and experts.
• Maintain confidentiality and support trial strategy; assist with technology.
