Gusto is seeking a seasoned performance marketer to own paid social and emerging acquisition channels, testing new platforms and tactics to scale. This high‑visibility role sits at the intersection of performance marketing, channel experimentation, and AI‑powered workflow design.

You will own execution for paid social and day‑to‑day strategy within Gusto's demand generation framework, with clear accountability to pipeline and revenue targets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of performance marketing experience in a B2B SaaS, performance marketing agency, or high-growth consumer organization.
• Full-funnel ownership across two or more major paid social platforms with hands-on execution and budget responsibility.
• Strong creative strategy and testing instincts, translating performance data into direction.
• AI-fluent in practice, using AI tools to accelerate briefs, copy, and analysis.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and data-driven communication.
• Analytical with a clear view on attribution in imperfect measurement environments.

Responsibilities

• Own paid social strategy and execution across Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, Quora, and TikTok, driving campaigns from awareness to conversion.
• Manage multi‑million dollar budgets with pacing, forecasting, and budget‑vs‑actual analysis.
• Refine measurement framework and attribution in partnership with the marketing team.
• Lead creative strategy, testing, and learning roadmaps with internal studios and agencies.
• Document playbooks for paid social and AI-powered marketing workflows.
• Use AI tools to generate briefs, variants, audience research, and reusable systems.
• Test and validate new digital channels and formats with structured pilots.
• Collaborate with Web Marketing, Brand, Influencer, Engineering, and Sales to align paid with integrated campaigns.
• Drive alignment with cross‑functional partners to optimize creative production and asset strategy.
• Partner with engineering to implement tracking and ensure measurement reliability.
• Bring performance data back upstream to influence creative and asset strategies.
