Gusto is seeking a seasoned performance marketer to own paid social and emerging channels, blending experimentation with AI-powered workflow design to drive pipeline and revenue. You will lead day-to-day strategy and own execution for paid social within Gusto's demand generation framework.

The role sits within the Demand Generation team, focused on driving awareness and pipeline through paid media, with high autonomy and a bias for experimentation in a fast-paced, AI-native environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of performance marketing experience in B2B SaaS or high-growth org.
• Full-funnel ownership across two or more major paid social platforms.
• Hands-on campaign builds, targeting, and budget management with measurable pipeline impact.
• AI fluency and a track record of implementing AI-driven efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Own paid social strategy and execution across Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, Quora, and TikTok, driving full-funnel campaigns with accountability to pipeline and revenue targets.
• Manage multi-million dollar budgets with pacing, forecasting, and budget-vs-actual analyses.
• Refine attribution and budget allocation in partnership with the marketing team.
• Lead creative strategy and testing at scale; structure experiments and derive actionable insights.
• Serve as the team's go-to expert on paid social and AI-powered workflows.
• Use AI tools to generate briefs, copy variants, and audience research.
• Identify, test and validate new channels beyond core paid social (e.g., Google Demand Gen, ChatGPT ads).
• Collaborate with Web Marketing on landing pages, message match, and post-click conversion.
• Align with Brand/Influencer to scale paid from proven organic content.
• Coordinate with Engineering on pixels/tracking and ensure measurement reliability.
• Partner with Integrated Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, Communications, and Web to align campaigns.
