Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across media buying, strategy, messaging, and creative testing.

You will lead client conversations, manage Meta performance, and develop testing strategies to optimize funnels and appointments. The role requires hands-on experience with Meta advertising, copywriting, and analytics, with a focus on high-net-worth prospect targeting for investment advisory clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience with Meta advertising responsibility
• Strong direct-response copywriting skills, including ad copy and scripts
• Experience developing and testing creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging
• Experience with tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and lead client-facing strategy conversations

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary strategic point of contact
• Lead bi-weekly client calls covering performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports before scheduled calls
• Translate performance data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions
• Build strong client relationships to support retention, renewals, and referrals
• Proactively identify and address account risks and opportunities
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointment booking
• Manage budgets, audiences, bid strategies, account structure, and creative testing
• Monitor daily performance against cost-per-appointment and other metrics
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and determine changes to improve results
• Develop structured testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, creative, and campaign variables
• Write direct-response ad copy and video sales letter scripts for financial services audiences
• Develop hooks, angles, offers, and messaging variations for testing
• Use performance data to generate new creative and messaging hypotheses
• Collaborate with video editors and provide clear creative direction
• Use AI tools to accelerate research and copy development while maintaining quality and strategic judgment
• Set up and troubleshoot tracking, Meta pixels, and conversion events
• Configure Calendly integrations, Zapier automations, and lead-routing workflows
• Identify and resolve technical issues between advertising platforms and client systems
• Evaluate performance across media, messaging, tracking, and lead flow to identify funnel problems
