Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist / Paid Media Lead to own client performance across media buying, strategy, messaging, and creative testing.

You will manage a portfolio of accounts end-to-end, including client conversations, Meta performance, copywriting, and testing strategies. You will report to the Associate Director of Operations and are accountable for client performance, relationships, and retention.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on paid media experience with substantial Meta responsibility.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and leading client strategy conversations.
• Proven ability to drive campaigns toward defined performance targets while supporting retention.
• Strong direct-response copywriting skills for ads and scripts.
• Experience developing and testing creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging.
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary strategic contact.
• Lead bi-weekly client calls on performance, strategy, testing priorities, and steps ahead.
• Prepare and send performance reports at least 24 hours before calls.
• Translate data into clear recommendations and decisions.
• Build client relationships to support retention, renewals and referrals.
• Manage Meta campaigns focused on lead gen and appointment booking.
• Monitor budgets, audiences, bids, structure, and creative testing.
• Develop structured testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging and variables.
• Write direct-response ad copy and video scripts for financial services audiences.
• Collaborate with video editors and provide clear creative direction.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research and copy development while maintaining quality.
