Job summary

Clients Blackbox is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across Meta advertising, strategy, messaging, and testing. You will manage a portfolio of accounts, lead client conversations, and drive results end-to-end, including copywriting and VSL scripting for financial services audiences.

You’ll report to the Associate Director of Operations and work in a fast-growing performance marketing agency environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience with Meta ads.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and leading strategy calls.
• Proven ability to hit targets while retaining clients.
• Strong direct‑response copywriting for ads and scripts.
• Experience creating and testing creative concepts and messaging.
• Experience with conversion tracking pixels and basic automation.
• Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and act as primary strategic contact.
• Lead bi-weekly client calls on performance, strategy and testing.
• Prepare and send performance reports at least 24 hours before calls.
• Translate data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Build client relationships to support retention and referrals.
• Identify and address account risks and opportunities.
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns for lead gen and appointments.
• Monitor performance against cost-per-appointment and other metrics.
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and adjust to improve results.
• Develop structured testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, and variables.
• Write direct-response ad copy and video scripts for financial services.
• Set up tracking, pixels, and lead-routing workflows; collaborate with editors.
