Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across media buying, strategy, messaging, and testing. You’ll manage a portfolio of accounts end-to-end and drive conversations with clients to improve results and retention.

You will develop testing strategies, copy, and video scripts, working with editors and leveraging AI tools while maintaining strategic judgment. This is a Senior hands-on role reporting to the Associate Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience with substantial Meta advertising responsibility.
• Experience leading client-facing strategy conversations across multiple accounts.
• Proven ability to manage campaigns toward defined performance targets while supporting client retention.
• Strong direct-response copywriting skills, including ad copy and scripts.
• Experience developing and testing creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging.
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary strategic point of contact.
• Lead bi-weekly client calls covering performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps.
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports at least 24 hours before scheduled calls.
• Translate performance data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Build strong client relationships supporting retention, renewals, and referrals.
• Proactively identify and address account risks and opportunities.
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointment booking.
• Monitor budgets, audiences, bid strategies, and creative testing; evaluate CPA and other metrics.
• Write direct-response ad copy and video scripts for financial services audiences.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research and copy development while maintaining quality.
