Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Systems Senior Specialist to manage and optimize packaging data across legacy and new PLM systems. You will enter, validate, and migrate data, generate reports, and test configurations while ensuring data quality and security.

The role requires strong packaging expertise, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. You will mentor others, drive continuous improvement, and influence decisions with factual insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Analytics.
• 3+ years of relevant experience; 7+ years without degree.
• Experience with PLM/specification systems (Specright & Oracle) and SAP/DB2 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry and QA for PLM and legacy systems.
• Data analysis and reporting with PLM, Power BI, and Excel.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align objectives and mitigate risks.
• Configure and test the new PLM system; support data migration.
• Create and maintain documentation; train users on processes and reports.
• Provide ongoing PLM support, address issues, and monitor security controls.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects; assess risks and business impact.
• Drive operational excellence and data quality in packaging.
• Share best practices and mentor junior team members.
