Job summary

Heartland Food Products Group is seeking a Packaging Engineering Master Data Analyst at our Indianapolis, IN plant. The role supports packaging development and master data workflows, ensuring data integrity across ERP/PLM and related systems.

You will document packaging testing, shelf-life studies and coordinate with vendors to drive commercialization initiatives. The position blends office work with hands-on production support, involving validations, product trials and data collection to enable

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field related to packaging/engineering.
Minimum 3 years' experience in packaging, manufacturing, engineering support, quality, IT or data management.
Experience with ERP/PLM/datasystems like Syspro, SAP, Oracle or MS Dynamics.
Strong Excel, Office 365 and data management capabilities.

Responsibilities

Support packaging development, optimization, commercialization and continuous improvement.
Maintain packaging, product, and master data across lifecycle and ERP/PLM systems.
Develop and control packaging specifications, BOMs, and technical docs.
Coordinate packaging validations, shelf-life tests, product trials and data results.
Analyze data, prepare dashboards and identify trends for engineering decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support launches and changes.
Ensure timely approvals, documentation accuracy and effective communication.
