Essenti Talent in DuPage County, IL is seeking a Lead Packaging Maintenance Mechanic to oversee maintenance on high-speed packaging lines. The role requires diagnosing and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical faults, mentoring junior technicians, and maintaining a CMMS log for all activities.

The position entails supporting improvements with operations and engineering, with multiple shifts and on-site responsibilities.

Formación

• 5–10+ years of maintenance experience in high-speed food packaging.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting ability.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Keep high-speed packaging and processing equipment running across a large, multi-line plant.
• Rebuild and refurbish machinery to like-new condition during planned and emergency downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical faults on baggers, sealers, scales, and related equipment.
• Handle electrical troubleshooting and repairs on the lines as part of daily work.
• Mentor junior technicians and pass along knowledge.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and log work in the CMMS.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering on improvement projects.
