Workforce Recruiter seeks a Lead Packaging Maintenance Mechanic for a high-speed food production site in DuPage County, IL. You will lead maintenance on multi-line packaging and processing equipment, perform rebuilds, diagnose complex faults, and mentor junior technicians on the floor.

This senior role requires hands-on problem solving, CMMS familiarity, and strong ownership of downtime tasks. On-site shifts and competitive pay reflect the critical nature of keeping lines running.

Competenze

• 5-10+ years of maintenance experience in high-speed food packaging or related fields.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting abilities; no full electrician credentials required.
• Experience maintaining/rebuilding packaging machinery (baggers, form-fill-seal, sealers).
• CMMS experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Keep high-speed packaging and processing equipment running across a large, multi-line plant.
• Rebuild and refurbish machinery to like-new condition during planned and emergency downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical faults and fix them without waiting on help.
• Handle electrical troubleshooting and repairs on the lines as part of daily work.
• Teach and mentor junior technicians.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and log all work in the CMMS.
• Work with operations and engineering on improvement projects.
