Job summary

RRD has immediate openings for seasoned Maintenance Mechanics to work in our Durham, NC facility. The role requires maintaining a high-speed packaging line with Longford friction feeders, Syntegon wrappers, and Shrink wrappers, ensuring production runs smoothly.

The technician will perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repair equipment per diagrams and manuals, and may fabricate parts using welders or machine tools. A strong blend of skills is essential for this environment.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex equipment.
• Ability to trace causes of malfunctions using diagrams and specs.
• Strong problem solving and quality focus with mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment in a high-speed packaging environment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Repair or reproduce parts using welders or machine tools per specs and manuals.
• Follow diagrams and manuals to service die cutters, web presses, folders, and conveyors.
