Job summary

RR Donnelley has immediate openings for seasoned Maintenance Mechanics to work in our Durham, NC facility. Must be able to work a 2,2,3 day shift, 6:45am - 7:00pm OR 6:45pm-7:00am.

To successfully maintain a high-speed trading card packaging line featuring Longford friction card feeders, a Syntegon DO-DIY horizontal flow wrapper, and a Shanklin shrink wrapper, a maintenance technician requires a specialized blend of mechanical, electrical, automation, and material-science skills.

Qualifications

• Maintains complex equipment and machinery.
• Ability to trace malfunctions from diagrams and specs.
• Performs precise measurements and adjustments.
• Reads drawings/diagrams to isolate faults.
• Uses shop tools and machine tools for replacements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organization's production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and/or mechanical issues.
• Repair and maintain machinery per manuals and specs using tools.
• Repair or reproduce parts with welders or machine tools.
