Job summary

Intellectt Inc. is seeking an experienced Packaging Engineer to support packaging equipment, line improvements, new installations, and capacity expansion projects in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The role requires leading packaging systems and coordinating with OEMs for installation and startup.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in Packaging Engineering within FMCG sectors, strong AutoCAD skills, and hands-on experience with line layouts and equipment commissioning. Onsite work in Jonesboro is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Packaging, or Industrial Engineering.
• 7–10 years of Packaging Engineering experience.
• Experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, Cosmetics, Personal Care, or Packaging Manufacturing.
• Strong packaging machinery selection and integration experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and packaging line layouts. Experience with OEM/vendor coordination and equipment commissioning.
• Brownfield project experience is a plus.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Responsibilities

• Support packaging systems across primary, secondary, and tertiary levels.
• Collaborate with filling, capping, labeling, cartoning, case packing, and palletizing equipment.
• Develop or review URS, equipment specs, and technical bid evaluations.
• Create/update packaging line layouts using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for equipment selection, installation, and startup.
• Support line balancing, changeovers, commissioning, validation, and qualification.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, GMP, and manufacturing standards.
