Job summary

Stanley 1913 is seeking a Senior Packaging Structural Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative packaging solutions. The role focuses on sustainability, brand standards, and cost efficiency while mentoring engineers and aligning with cross‑functional teams.

This full‑time, hybrid position is based in Seattle, WA. You will drive packaging strategy, lead change initiatives, and collaborate with Marketing, Product Engineering, and Supply Chain to deliver scalable

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience as a packaging engineer or senior packaging engineer
• Proficiency in Artios and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with SolidWorks 3D CAD and Keyshot rendering preferred
• Familiarity with TOPS or CAPE software
• Understanding of corrugate, paperboard, and other packaging materials and processes
• Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes that impacts packaging design
• Effective networking and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead special packaging projects and coordinate with the Packaging Manager
• Prioritize projects based on scope and urgency
• Collaborate with supply chain to improve packaging performance and processes
• Lead continuous improvement efforts and drive cost-effective packaging solutions
• Develop innovative structural designs and die lines using ArtiosCAD
• Create physical mockups and perform performance testing
• Document specifications and release revisions in PLM systems
• Provide technical training to raise process efficiency
