Qualifications

• BS or BA in Packaging Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of experience as a packaging engineer, packaging designer or structural engineer in consumer goods.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Work with global packaging team and suppliers to develop packaging requirements, material specifications, and project priorities.
• Create/optimize packaging structure to maximize quality/cost based on regionally available materials and qualify through testing.
• Coordinate specifications, labeling, and approvals of all packaging structures.
• Troubleshoot problems with current product packaging.
• Create prototypes for customer line reviews and sales pitches with major retailers.
• Design, innovate, and execute sustainable packaging solutions with cross-functional support.
