SC Johnson Lifestyle Brands in San Francisco is seeking a Manager, Packaging Development Engineering to lead a team of packaging engineers in delivering innovative, sustainable packaging solutions that balance consumer needs, performance, and business goals.

In this hybrid role, you will drive packaging strategy, advance sustainability roadmaps, and partner with R&D, Design, Marketing, Procurement and Supply Chain, while overseeing projects, budgets, and risks.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in packaging or engineering and 7+ years of product/packaging development experience (or a Master's with 5+ years).
• 2+ years of leadership experience, coaching and cross-functional teams.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of packaging engineers.
• Drive packaging innovation and commercialization across domestic and global pipelines.
• Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Design, Marketing, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
• Lead sustainability initiatives with roadmaps and emerging technologies.
• Oversee technical project execution: testing, budgets, resources, and risk.
• Provide technical leadership across packaging disciplines (materials, dispensing, closures, molding).
• Influence business strategy and senior leadership with actionable plans.
