Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a Manager, Global Packaging Development to lead complex packaging programs across brands, balancing quality, sustainability, and cost. You will guide cross-functional teams to translate brand vision into robust packaging concepts.

You will partner with Marketing, Design, Product Development, R&I, and Manufacturing to deliver commercially viable packaging solutions, coach junior staff, and drive digital/AI-enabled optimization across the organization.

Qualifications

Minimum BS degree in Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Materials Engineering, or related technical discipline.
CIPT or IOPP certification.
5+ years in cosmetic package development.

Responsibilities

Lead packaging development across multiple projects, brands, or product categories.
Translate business strategy, brand vision, and consumer expectations into commercially successful packaging solutions by partnering with Design, Product Development, R&I, and Manufacturing.
Drive sustainability, total cost of ownership improvements, and consumer experience in packaging solutions.
Lead FMEA and proactive technical risk management and coordinate supplier development.
