Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to independently manage complex Pennsylvania workers' compensation claims, from assignment through resolution. Delaware and New Jersey experience are valued.

This is a fully remote position, with expectations to support collaboration and cross-functional partnerships. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in PA WC claims, deep knowledge of PA laws, and proven success with complex indemnity and litigated claims.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Pennsylvania workers' compensation claims experience.
• Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania workers' compensation laws, regulations, and claims handling practices.
• Experience handling complex indemnity and litigated claims.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of Pennsylvania workers' compensation claims from assignment through resolution
• Investigate claims, determine compensability, and develop appropriate claim handling strategies
• Review medical documentation, coverage, and claim exposure in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations
• Establish and maintain appropriate reserves based on claim developments
• Manage complex indemnity and litigated claims, including settlement negotiations
• Coordinate with defense counsel, medical providers, employers, and other stakeholders
• Monitor claim activity, maintain accurate diaries, and ensure timely follow-up
• Coordinate return-to-work efforts and identify opportunities for cost containment, subrogation, or fraud investigation
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation within the claims management system
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
