Qualifications

• 5+ years of PA workers' compensation claims experience.
• Knowledge of PA laws, regulations, and claims handling practices.
• Experience with complex indemnity claims.
• Experience developing claim-resolution strategies and settlements.
• Delaware/NJ claims experience valued.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex claims in a remote environment.
• Proficient in claims management systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of PA workers' compensation claims from assignment through resolution.
• Investigate claims, determine compensability, and develop handling strategies.
• Review medical documentation, coverage, and claim exposure per PA regulations.
• Establish and maintain reserves based on claim developments.
• Manage complex indemnity and litigated claims, including settlements.
• Coordinate with defense counsel, medical providers, employers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor claim activity, maintain diaries, and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Coordinate return‑to‑work efforts and identify cost containment opportunities.
• Maintain complete documentation within the claims management system.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
