Job summary

Slate is seeking a Senior P2P Process Analyst in Troy, Michigan to own the resolution of billing and payment issues, drive root-cause analyses, and author SOPs for the full bill-to-pay lifecycle. You will partner with AP, Purchasing, and plant teams to reduce defects and improve PO accuracy, GR/IR timing, and vendor data quality.

The role emphasizes data-driven process improvement, ERP/SAP expertise, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders while supporting SAP implementation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, supply chain, business, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in accounts payable or procure-to-pay operations with process-improvement focus.
• A portfolio of published root-cause analyses with end-to-end walkthroughs.
• Strong understanding of PO, GR/IR, invoicing, and payment processes.
• Experience with SAP and ERP systems; SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root-cause analyses on recurring billing, invoicing, and payment failures.
• Author and maintain SOPs for full bill-to-pay lifecycle and train staff.
• Partner with plant, purchasing, and accounting to reduce upstream defects.
• Diagnose and fix exceptions by improving processes and system configurations.
• Own bill-to-pay performance reporting and support month-end close.
