Job summary

Globalprofessionals is seeking a Senior Finance Operations Lead to oversee the purchase-to-pay process across North America within an SAP S/4HANA environment. This role manages requisitions, PO discipline, goods receipt, three-way matching, invoice exceptions, and payment accuracy, serving as the go-to for requisitioners.

Qualifications

• 12-20 years of experience in finance operations, accounts payable, or P2P leadership in FMCG/ manufacturing.
• Proficient in SAP S/4HANA MM and FI modules within a business context.
• Strong compliance and control mindset with focus on buying channels and on-contract spend.
• Experience governing vendor master data and payment controls.
• Credibility with Procurement, Finance, and requisitioner community; Cincinnati relocation capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Purchase-to-Pay chain, including requisition/approval flows, PO management, goods receipt, invoice processing, three-way match, and payment.
• Address exceptions (GR/IR, blocked/parked invoices, variances, duplicates, aged items).
• Govern vendor master data and embed fraud prevention practices.
• Drive compliance and reduce off-contract spending; improve cycle times and first-time-right invoice rates.
• Own accrual accuracy and P2P inputs for month-end close.
• Provide guidance, training, and documentation to requisitioners and buying community.
• Shape P2P change requests with clear problem statements and acceptance criteria for sign-off.
• Represent the business to S/4HANA program and IT to safeguard control integrity and testing capacity.
• Report P2P KPIs to leadership (on-time payments, invoice accuracy, PO compliance, aged GR/IR, working capital).
