Job summary

PwC is seeking a Risk Modeling Services P&C Manager to lead actuarial and risk modeling work that assesses financial risk through statistical analysis and data insights. You will guide teams, coach junior staff, manage workstreams, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables for clients in PwC’s Assurance practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics or Mathematical Statistics.
• At least 4 years of experience.
• Fellow of Society of Actuaries or equivalent (may be waived with experience).

Responsibilities

• Leading property and casualty risk modeling workstreams for insurance clients by reviewing assumptions, model structure, and timelines.
• Developing and interpreting financial risk models using statistical analysis and actuarial methods.
• Guiding team members through model implementation, validation and documentation for pricing, reserving, and capital analysis.
• Reviewing analyses and deliverables for accuracy and alignment with client objectives.
• Managing project plans, budgets, and milestones across engagements with scope changes.
• Coaching analysts and senior associates on modeling techniques.
• Communicating model findings, assumptions, and limitations to client stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities to improve methods and automate tasks using digital tooling.
