Job summary

PwC is seeking a Risk Modeling Services P&C Manager to lead actuarial and risk modeling work that helps clients assess financial risk through statistical modeling, data analysis, and clear recommendations. You will guide teams, coach junior staff, manage workstreams, and bring structure to complex assignments within our Assurance practice.

You will oversee model development and review, support client conversations, and contribute to work that helps organizations navigate regulatory and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in risk modeling or actuarial science.
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries or equivalent (or exemption for more experience).

Responsibilities

• Leading property and casualty risk modeling workstreams for insurance clients and reviewing model structure and timelines.
• Developing and interpreting financial risk models using statistical analysis and actuarial methods.
• Guiding team members through model implementation, validation, and documentation for pricing, reserving, and capital analysis.
• Reviewing analyses and deliverables for accuracy and alignment with client objectives.
• Managing project plans, budgets, and milestones across engagements.
• Coaching analysts on statistical modeling, financial modeling, and risk analysis techniques.
• Communicating model findings and limitations to stakeholders in reports and presentations.
