Job summary

PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services LLC is seeking a Risk Modeling Services P&C Manager in New York to lead actuarial and risk modeling efforts for insurance clients. You will guide teams, coach junior staff, manage workstreams, and deliver clear recommendations to support regulatory and risk challenges.

You will oversee model development and validation, ensure timely deliverables, and contribute to client discussions with strong technical and business judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics or Mathematical Statistics.
• At least 4 years of experience.
• Fellow of Society of Actuaries or equivalent (certification may be waived with sufficient experience).

Responsibilities

• Lead property and casualty risk modeling workstreams for insurance clients with review of assumptions, structure and timelines.
• Develop and interpret financial risk models using statistical analysis and actuarial methods.
• Guide team members through model implementation, validation, and documentation for pricing, reserving and capital analysis.
• Review analyses for accuracy and alignment with client objectives and guidance.
• Manage project plans, budgets, and milestones across engagements; address scope changes and issues.
• Mentor analysts and senior associates on statistical modeling and risk analysis techniques.
• Communicate model findings to client stakeholders through presentations and reports.
• Identify opportunities to automate tasks and apply digital tooling to improve delivery.
