Job summary

Capgemini seeks a seasoned P&C Insurance SME / Senior Business Analyst in Chicago to drive payment transformation and modernization. You will bridge business, operations, and technology teams, shaping payment solutions across ACH, RTP, digital wallets, and card payments.

You will document requirements, perform gap analyses, and support regulatory and audit readiness while enabling end-to-end traceability throughout projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field.
• 10–12 years of experience in P&C Insurance, payment operations, business analysis, or payment transformation programs within insurance carriers.
• Strong expertise in insurance payment ecosystems and payment processing workflows.
• Experience gathering, documenting, validating, and managing business and functional requirements.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering workshops, stakeholder interviews, and business process analysis sessions.
• Document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
• Translate business requirements into scalable solution designs with technology teams.
• Support vendor evaluations, proof-of-concept activities, and UAT.
• Assist with regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and operational requirements.
