Job summary

Signers National is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance to join our team. The role owns the business analysis workstream across cross-functional initiatives, translating business needs into clear requirements and driving solution design.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, deep knowledge of insurance operations, workflows, and systems, and can bridge business stakeholders with technology teams throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst on complex projects.
• Experience supporting producer and broker operations across submission, placement, renewal, and commission lifecycle.
• Experience as product owner or lead analyst for a CRM or business application.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Partner with producers, brokers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to map current-state processes and translate context into technical decisions.
• Lead requirements discovery and solution design for the CRM and internal systems across production pipelines, quoting, submissions, renewals, and commission processing.
• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements including user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and data mapping specifications for development teams.
• Perform impact analysis to assess downstream systems, integrations, operations, and compliance.
• Collaborate with product owners, the Solution Architect, QA, and development teams throughout the SDLC to ensure requirements are feasible and testable.
• Own cross-functional initiatives from intake through delivery, recommending process improvements and prioritization aligned with business strategy.
• Support requirements for carrier data exchange, ACORD messaging, surplus lines tax filings, and delegated authority workflows as needed.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts or business users involved in requirements gathering and UAT.
