Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, is seeking an AVP-level leader to drive commercial P&C broking strategy and market execution in a hybrid Indianapolis setting. You will lead complex placements, strengthen carrier relationships, and partner with producers and account teams to accelerate growth and retention.

Responsibilities include strategy development, go-to-market execution, and mentoring junior talent while maintaining strong client service standards. Travel may be required to support client needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in commercial P&C broking.
• Strong leadership with experience managing teams.
• Deep carrier relationships across the Northeast.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and partner management.
• P&C Insurance License required.
• Travel as needed for client, prospect and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy development and marketing for a book of NFP clients in the Northeast region, aligning with account service teams.
• Implement national and regional broking strategies to optimize client outcomes.
• Engage with producers to identify market opportunities and support growth strategies.
• Develop strategies for at-risk accounts to ensure retention and profitability.
• Coordinate and drive placement strategy from assessment to proposal and execution.
