Job summary

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager in its Property & Casualty Actuarial Practice. You will work with consultants to analyze complex problems, deliver solutions for carriers, large corporations, captives, and regulators, and collaborate with engineering teams to translate actuarial specs into technical requirements.

This role emphasizes pricing, reserving, and capital modeling with innovative analytics.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in actuarial science or related field.
5+ years actuarial experience; ACAS or FCAS credentials.
Must communicate complex information clearly.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; AI experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Project Work: various projects including reserving, pricing/ratemaking, predictive modeling, economic capital modeling, and loyalty programs.
Project Management: oversee projects with minimal principal involvement and manage client communications.
Analytical Review: ensure technical accuracy across analyses and exhibits.
Exhibits and Reporting: prepare reports to present findings to clients.
Client Engagement: attend and participate in client meetings as required.
Business Development: assist in proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
