Job summary

Oliver Wyman's US Property & Casualty Actuarial Consulting Practice is hiring an Actuarial Manager/Senior Manager – Domain Specialist with deep expertise in pricing, reserving or capital modelling. This role focuses on technical judgement: validating models, challenging outputs, and delivering clear actuarial recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in a recognized actuarial body (e.g., FCAS/FIA) or equivalent senior qualification.
• Substantial hands-on experience in reserving, pricing, and/or capital modelling in P&C insurance or reinsurance.
• Strong technical skills with actuarial tools and languages (Python, VBA, SQL, or R).
• Experience preparing actuarial reports and presenting to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in your area of expertise for client engagements and business development.
• Validate and sign-off model outputs with proper documentation for audit and regulatory review.
• Lead complex actuarial analyses and prepare comprehensive documentation.
• Mentor junior staff and review deliverables to meet business objectives.
• Communicate actuarial findings to finance, risk, and senior management.
