WSP USA Buildings Inc. is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Project Management – Owner's Representative Engineering Services to lead and deliver owner’s representative assignments for major clients within the Property & Buildings practice.

The role coordinates with clients, design teams, contractors, and WSP specialists to support planning, procurement, design oversight, construction-phase representation, closeout, and readiness activities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in building engineering, project management, construction administration, technical advisory, or related roles.
• Professional licensure or credentials such as PE, RA, PMP, CCM preferred.
• Experience supporting large, complex building or infrastructure projects on behalf of owners, institutions, developers, or corporate clients.
• Working knowledge of project delivery processes, building systems, procurement, design coordination, construction-phase services, and project controls.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and client management skills.
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as an owner's representative on assigned projects and liaise among client, design consultants, contractors, and WSP teams.
• Support owners through planning, procurement, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout phases.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary technical input across engineering, commissioning, sustainability, digital delivery, and other project functions.
• Assist in feasibility studies, technical assessments, options analyses, procurement packages, and owner decision-support materials.
• Review design deliverables for alignment with owner's requirements, objectives, budget and schedule.
• Track scope, schedule, budget, risk, and issues; report status and recommendations clearly.
• Support procurement efforts, including RFPs, bid review, and evaluation support.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, field reviews, and site visits to document progress.
• Support construction-phase activities, including tracking submittals and change trends.
• Contribute to punch lists, turnover, commissioning, closeout, and operational readiness.
• Prepare written reports, meeting summaries, and action trackers for clients and internal use.
• Provide technical direction and mentor junior staff.
• Support business development, proposal preparation, and client relationship-building.
