Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Professional – Owner’s Representative Engineering Services to provide day-to-day technical and project-delivery support within the Property & Buildings practice. You will work under guidance, advancing planning, design review, procurement support, and construction-phase coordination for complex projects.

The role requires developed project delivery knowledge, independence on tasks, strong analytical and coordination skills, and ability to mentor less-experienced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• Typically 5–7 years in building engineering, project delivery, or related roles.
• Working knowledge of building systems and project delivery processes.
• Ability to work independently on defined assignments with multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead defined project support tasks for owner’s representative projects.
• Assist with planning studies and development of owner decision-support materials.
• Review documents, drawings, and submittals for consistency with owner requirements.
• Coordinate input from internal teams and external participants for design reviews and procurement.
• Prepare meeting notes and client-facing status documents.
• Track scope, schedule milestones, risks, and open issues; escalate as needed.
• Participate in meetings, site visits, and coordination activities.
• Support procurement and contracting through document assembly and bid processes.
• Contribute to construction-phase support and turnover documentation.
• Apply tools and templates; identify issues and seek guidance on high-risk matters.
