Job summary

Stantec seeks an Owner’s Representative, Project Director to lead design and construction programs ranging from planning through occupancy. Projects span renovations and new builds with total costs from several million to $300+ million.

You will oversee a team and interact with clients, while maintaining schedule, budget, and scope. You will lead the project direction, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery, with frequent client communications and executive presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent).
• 10+ years of project management experience leading teams on large capital projects.
• Professional registrations or certifications are a plus.
• Ability to lead project teams and communicate with clients effectively.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects valued at $25M–$300M, including renovations and new builds.
• Directly manage 25–50 project team members.
• Communicate goals, constraints and priorities to the project team.
• Monitor profitability and fee utilization against contract value.
• Present budgets, schedules, and milestones to clients and executives.
