We Search People is seeking a Senior Construction Manager / Owner’s Representative to oversee a range of construction and property improvement projects across the client’s portfolio in the DC, VA, and MD region.

The successful candidate will represent the ownership group from scope through closeout, coordinating with external engineering partners and internal teams to ensure high-quality delivery and asset performance.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Construction Management, Owner’s Representation or MEP project management.
• Engineering background strongly preferred; equivalent substantial experience with commercial building systems will be considered.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading commercial tenant improvements, capital projects, major equipment replacements, and occupied-building work from scope through closeout.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial MEP systems and the ability to independently evaluate engineering and contractor recommendations and improve building performance.

• Oversee a range of construction and property improvement projects across the portfolio.
• Represent the ownership group throughout projects including tenant improvements, capital projects, building upgrades and other construction initiatives.
• Coordinate and oversee external engineering and technical partners to improve building operations and asset performance.
• Work closely with internal teams, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered effectively with clear communication.
