NuAxis, a federal IT solutions company, seeks a Senior OutSystems Developer to lead the architecture of enterprise-grade OutSystems applications and oversee reusable component libraries. You will govern service layers, perform integrations, and drive performance optimization.

Ideal candidates bring 5–8 years of OutSystems development with leadership experience, plus relevant certifications. The role is full-time in the United States with a strong focus on secure, scalable delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Eng, IT or related field; 2 years may substitute for 1 year of academia.
• 5–8 years OutSystems development exp, incl. 2+ years architecture/tech lead.
• OutSystems Certified Professional Developer or Advanced Developer required.
• Obtainable after hire: OutSystems Tech Lead or Solution Architect within 180 days.
• Preferred: OutSystems Platform Specialist; AWS or Azure associate cert.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Leads development of enterprise-grade OutSystems applications, integrations, and platform architectures. Sets factory standards and governs reusable component libraries.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect OutSystems application modules, service layers, and reusable component libraries.
• Design and implement integrations with external systems, databases, and APIs.
• Establish architecture and lifecycle governance using Architecture Dashboard and LifeTime.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and technical debt posture.
• Lead code review, secure development practices, and mentoring of mid-level developers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Two (2) years of specialized experience may substitute for one (1) year of the academic requirement.
• Minimum Experience: Five (5) to eight (8) years of OutSystems development experience, including at least two (2) years in an architecture or technical lead capacity.
• Certifications — Required: OutSystems Certified Professional Developer or Advanced Developer.
• Certifications — Obtainable After Hire: OutSystems Certified Tech Lead or Solution Architect, within 180 days of assignment.
• Certifications — Preferred: OutSystems Certified Platform Specialist; AWS or Azure associate-level certification.
• Required Skills: OutSystems Service Studio and Integration Studio; reactive web and mobile development; REST and SOAP integration; data modeling; Architecture Canvas; performance optimization.
• Preferred Skills: OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC); federal environments; accessibility-compliant UI patterns.

Technical Environment

OutSystems 11 and OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC); Service Studio and Integration Studio; LifeTime deployment management; Architecture Dashboard and Discovery; Forge components; REST and SOAP integrations; SQL Server and Oracle; reactive web and mobile applications; C# and SQL extensions; Azure or AWS hosting.
