Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate client payroll processing, timely reporting, and compliance across federal and state requirements. You will work with ADP WFN, implement payroll solutions, and support clients through implementation and ongoing service.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of payroll experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, CPP preferred, and strong communication with the ability to manage multiple client projects in a deadline-driven

Qualifications

• 3 yrs payroll experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree or experience in lieu of degree.
• CPP preferred.
• Experience with ADP WFN software and implementation.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly detail oriented and accuracy focused.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment serving multiple clients.
• Ability to provide exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their payroll system and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and process payrolls to meet client deadlines; update records, calculate bonuses or severance, and reconcile taxes and deposits.
• Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions.
• Establish trusted client relationships and maintain data confidentiality.
• Provide technical software support to clients and identify opportunities to expand services.
• Be a resource to implementation team; manage new client implementations and train clients on payroll processes.
• Support development of the team and maintain knowledge of ADP platforms.
