Job summary

CSS in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior Representative - Outside Sales to drive new prospects and grow revenue. You will engage with customers at all levels, develop account plans, and deliver presentations and product demonstrations to meet sales goals.

You will travel 40%–50% to client sites, qualify opportunities, and work with suppliers to expand margins. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and commission-based incentives are included.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.
• High School Degree or Equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years outside sales experience required.
• Ability to travel to current and potential clients and suppliers; travel 40%–50%.

Responsibilities

• Qualify accounts by determining market potential and provide territory forecasts.
• Execute and expand assigned customer account plan(s) with management.
• Drive billing margin via value-added services and supplier programs.
• Prospect potential customers, including cold calling and referrals.
• Identify customer needs and propose products/services accordingly.
• Demonstrate product functions and benefits to customers.
• Maintain ongoing communication and resolve post-sale issues.
• Develop product knowledge through supplier training and calls.
• Build strong supplier relationships via joint sales calls.
• Provide quotations directly or with sales support; mentor the team.
