Job summary

Senior Friendship Centers, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Volunteer & Outreach Manager to lead the volunteer program and spearhead community engagement across SW Florida.

This full-time role sits in our Sarasota office with travel to locations as needed and reports to the Advancement Department. The ideal candidate excels at relationship-building, is highly organized, and can manage multiple projects, with experience in Volgistics and nonprofit outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or commensurate experience.
• 2–3 years of nonprofit or related field experience.
• Experience with volunteer coordination and community outreach.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement a strategic volunteer program across multiple sites.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard volunteers; match skills to opportunities.
• Coordinate schedules, trainings, and recognition events for volunteers.
• Manage program budgets and maintain volunteer records & reports.
