Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd in Rome, Georgia, part of Advocate Health, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PMHNP- or PA-trained) for outpatient Behavioral Health. You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, and work with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes in a 8-5, Monday–Friday schedule.

The role emphasizes comprehensive psychiatric care for adults, with opportunities for CME, bonuses, and a collaborative work environment within a large nonprofit health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Georgia license or eligibility for licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Current prescriptive authority and DEA registration required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic psychiatric conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and nurses to coordinate patient care.
